हे महामुनि! ज्येष्ठ मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वादशी को मथुरापुरी में उपवास करके, यमुना में स्नान करके तथा एकाग्र मन से श्री अच्युत की पूजा करने से मनुष्य अश्वमेध यज्ञ का पूर्ण फल प्राप्त करता है।
O great sage! By fasting on the Dwadashi of the bright half of the month of Jyestha in Mathurapuri, taking a bath in the Yamuna and worshipping Sri Achyuta with a concentrated mind, one obtains the full fruits of the Ashwamedha Yagna.
