मनुष्य अपने शरीर के भोग के लिए ही सब कर्म करता है; परंतु चूँकि यह शरीर उससे पृथक है, इसलिए वे कर्म ही बंधन (शरीर का जन्म) का कारण हैं।॥16॥
A man performs all actions for the enjoyment of his body; but since this body is separate from himself, those actions are the cause only of bondage (birth of the body).॥ 16॥
