हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! उस समय रंगशाला में बड़ा कोलाहल मच गया और बलदेवजी अपने छोटे भाई कृष्ण की ओर देखकर बोले - "हे महाभाग! इस हाथी को शत्रु ने प्रेरित किया है; अतः इसे मार डालना चाहिए ॥33-34॥
