सबसे पहले उसे अपने पिता के लिए दक्षिण दिशा की ओर मुख करके ब्राह्मणों के भोजन के पास बिछे हुए कुशा पर पुष्प और धूप से पूजा करके पिण्डदान करना चाहिए ॥ 41॥
