पादशौचादिना गेहमागतान्पूजयेद् द्विजान्॥ १३॥
पवित्रपाणिराचान्तानासनेषूपवेशयेत्।
पितॄणामयुजो युग्मान्देवानामिच्छया द्विजान्॥ १४॥
देवानामेकमेकं वा पितॄणां च नियोजयेत्॥ १५॥
अनुवाद
अपने घर आए हुए ब्राह्मणों का पहले चरण आदि धोकर स्वागत करो; फिर हाथ धुलवाकर उन्हें आसन पर बिठाओ। अपनी शक्ति के अनुसार पितरों के लिए अयुग्मित ब्राह्मण और देवताओं के लिए युग्मित ब्राह्मण नियुक्त करो अथवा दोनों पक्षों के लिए एक-एक ब्राह्मण नियुक्त करो॥13-15॥
First welcome the Brahmins who come to your house by cleaning their feet etc.; then wash your hands and make them rinse their mouths before making them sit on a seat. According to your capacity, appoint unpaired Brahmins for the ancestors and paired Brahmins for the gods or appoint one Brahmin each for both the sides.॥ 13-15॥
