माता, पिता, सपिण्ड, समानोदक, समूह के सदस्य अथवा उसके धन का अधिकारी राजा ही पूर्ववत् अनुष्ठान कर सकता है; किन्तु आगे का अनुष्ठान पुत्र, पौत्र आदि अथवा उनकी सन्तान को ही करना चाहिए ॥38-39॥
Mother, father, Sapinda, Samanodaka, members of the group or the king who is entitled to his wealth can perform the previous rituals; but the subsequent rituals should be performed only by the son, grandson etc. or their children. ॥38-39॥
