चन्द्रमा द्वारा प्राप्त यह जल बादलों द्वारा तुरंत दूषित नहीं होता, इसलिए इसे 'ओभ्र' कहते हैं। हे मैत्रेय! कालजनित संस्कार प्राप्त होने पर यह अशुद्ध जल पवित्र होकर वायु की प्रेरणा से पृथ्वी पर बरसने लगता है। 10॥
This water received by the moon does not get immediately corrupted by the clouds, hence it is called 'Obhra'. O Maitreya! On attaining the time-born sanskar, this impure water becomes pure and starts raining on the earth with the inspiration of wind. 10॥
