सुमेरु पर्वत सभी द्वीपों और पर्वतों के उत्तर में स्थित है, इसलिए उत्तर दिशा में (मेरु पर्वत पर) हमेशा [एक ओर] दिन और [दूसरी ओर] रात रहती है।
Mount Sumeru is situated to the north of all the islands and mountains, therefore in the northern direction (on Mount Meru) there is always day [on one side] and night [on the other side].
