इसी प्रकार सूर्योदय और सूर्यास्त भी सदैव विपरीत ही होते हैं। हे ब्रह्मन्! समस्त दिशाओं और अन्तरदिशाओं में जहाँ-जहाँ लोग सूर्य को देखते हैं, उनके लिए वह उदय होता है और जहाँ-जहाँ दिन के अंत में सूर्य लुप्त हो जाता है, वहीं उसका अस्त होना कहा जाता है।॥13-14॥
Similarly, the sunrise and sunset also always occur opposite to each other. O Brahman! In all the directions and sub-directions, wherever people see the Sun [at the end of the night], for them it rises there and wherever the Sun disappears at the end of the day, that is said to be its setting.॥ 13-14॥
