भूपादजङ्घाकटॺूरुजठरादिषु संस्थिते।
शिबिकेयं यथा स्कन्धे तथा भार: समस्त्वया॥ ७३॥
अनुवाद
यदि पृथ्वी, पैर, जंघा, कटि, ऊरु और उदर पर रखे हुए कंधोंपर रखी हुई यह नाव मेरे लिए भार हो सकती है, तो क्या यह तुम्हारे लिए भी भार हो सकती है? [क्योंकि जैसे पृथ्वी आदि तुमसे पृथक हैं, वैसे ही वे मुझ आत्मासे भी सर्वथा पृथक हैं]॥73॥
If this boat placed on the shoulders, which are placed on the earth, feet, thighs, waist, thighs and abdomen respectively, can be a burden for me, then can it be a burden for you also? [Because just as the earth etc. are separate from you, in the same way they are completely separate from me, the soul]॥ 73॥
