स्तुवन्ति चैनं मुनयो गन्धर्वैर्गीयते पुर:।
नृत्यन्त्योऽप्सरसो यान्ति तस्य चानु निशाचरा:॥ १६॥
वहन्ति पन्नगा यक्षै: क्रियतेऽभीषुसङ्ग्रह:।
बालखिल्यास्तथैवैनं परिवार्य समासते॥ १७॥ |

| ऋषिगण सूर्यदेव की स्तुति करते हैं और गन्धर्वगण उनके आगे स्तुति गाते हैं। अप्सराएँ चलते हुए नृत्य करती हैं, राक्षस रथ के पीछे रहते हैं, सर्प रथ को सजाते हैं और यक्ष घोड़ों की लगाम संभालते हैं तथा बालक्रीड़ा करने वाले रथ को चारों ओर से घेरे रहते हैं।॥16-17॥ |

| The sages praise the Sun God and the Gandharvas sing his praises in front of him. The Apsaras dance while walking, the demons stay behind the chariot, the snakes decorate the chariot and the Yakshas control the reins of the horses and the child-players surround the chariot from all sides.॥ 16-17॥ |
