स्वधीतं दत्तमिष्टं च ऐश्वर्यं परिपालितम्।

| उन्होंने कहा, "दैत्यराज! हमने वेदों का अध्ययन किया है, दान दिया है और यज्ञ किए हैं। हमने अपने धन की रक्षा की है और उसका उपभोग किया है। हमने रोगमुक्त जीवन प्राप्त किया है और कर्तव्य मार्ग में उत्तम धर्म की स्थापना की है ॥ 40॥ |
