राक्षसान् समरे हृष्टान् सानुबन्धान् मदोद्धतान्।
नुद त्वं नो भयं देव नीहारमिव भास्कर:॥ १८॥ |

| हे प्रभु! वे दैत्य अहंकार से मदमस्त हो रहे हैं। हमें कष्ट देकर वे अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हो रहे हैं। अतः आप युद्धस्थल में उनके बन्धु-बान्धवों सहित उनका वध करके हमारा भय उसी प्रकार दूर कीजिए, जैसे सूर्यदेव कोहरे का नाश कर देते हैं।॥18॥ |

| O Lord! Those demons are getting intoxicated with arrogance. They are very happy after tormenting us. Therefore, please kill them along with their relatives in the battlefield and remove our fear in the same way as the Sun God destroys the fog.'॥ 18॥ |
