ततोऽन्यं देशमास्थाय शक्र: संत्यज्य रावणम्।
अयुध्यत महाराज राक्षसांस्त्रासयन् रणे॥ १७॥
अनुवाद
महाराज श्री राम! ऐसा कहकर इन्द्र रावण से युद्ध करना छोड़कर दूसरी ओर चले गए और युद्धस्थल में राक्षसों को भयभीत करते हुए उनसे युद्ध करने लगे॥17॥
Maharaja Shri Ram! Having said this, Indra gave up fighting with Ravana and went to the other side and started fighting with the demons in the battlefield, frightening them.॥ 17॥
