राजा! नाना प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्रों से सुसज्जित होकर दुष्टात्मा कुम्भकर्ण न जाने किन लोगों से युद्ध कर रहा था (अर्थात् मतवाला होकर अपने तथा पराये सैनिकों से भी युद्ध कर रहा था)॥34॥
King! It was not known with whom the evil-spirited Kumbhakarna was fighting with, armed with various kinds of weapons (i.e. being inebriated, he used to fight with his own as well as strangers' soldiers).॥ 34॥
