कहीं जगमगाते कनेर के वृक्ष वन की शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे, कहीं कदम्ब और बकुल (मौलसिरी) वृक्षों के समूह अपनी शोभा बिखेर रहे थे, कहीं मंदाकिनी के जल से भरे हुए तथा खिले हुए कमलों से सुशोभित तालाब शोभा दे रहे थे, कहीं चम्पा, अशोक, पुन्नाग (नागकेसर), मंदार, आम, पाडर, लोध, प्रियंगु, अर्जुन, केतक, तगर, नारीकील, प्रियाल और पनस आदि वृक्ष अपने पुष्पों की शोभा से उस पर्वत शिखर के वन प्रदेश को आलोकित कर रहे थे।
Somewhere the glowing oleander trees were adorning the forests, somewhere groups of Kadamba and Bakul (Maulsiri) trees were spreading their beauty, somewhere ponds filled with the water of Mandakini and decorated with blooming lotuses were giving beauty, somewhere trees like Champa, Ashok, Punnag (Nagkesar), Mandar, Mango, Padar, Lodh, Priyangu, Arjun, Ketak, Tagar, Narikeel, Priyal and Panas were illuminating the forest region of that mountain peak with the beauty of their flowers.
