अपने कुल में भयंकर नरसंहार होने की बात सुनकर रघुनन्दन शत्रुघ्न ने समस्त प्रजाजनों तथा कांचन नामक पुरोहित को बुलाया और उन्हें सारा वृत्तान्त यथावत् सुनाया ॥ 7-8॥
On hearing that a dreadful massacre was imminent in his clan, Raghunandan Shatrughna called together all the people and a priest named Kanchan and narrated the whole incident to them as it happened. ॥ 7-8॥
