संक्षिप्य हि पुरा लोकान् मायया स्वयमेव हि।
महार्णवे शयानोऽप्सु मां त्वं पूर्वमजीजन:॥ ४॥
अनुवाद
पूर्वकाल में आपने माया द्वारा सम्पूर्ण लोकों को अपने में समाहित कर लिया था और फिर आप महासागर के जल में सो गए थे। फिर इस सृष्टि के प्रारम्भ में आपने सबसे पहले मेरी रचना की।॥4॥
‘In the past, you had absorbed all the worlds in yourself through Maya and then you slept in the waters of the great ocean. Then, at the beginning of this creation, you created me first. ॥ 4॥
