येषां नश्यत्ययं लोकश्चरतां धर्मचारिणाम्।
तेऽर्थास्त्वयि न दृश्यन्ते दुर्दिनेषु यथा ग्रहा:॥ ४०॥ |

| यह स्पष्ट रूप से देखा गया है कि धर्म के मार्ग पर चलने वाले और तप में लगे हुए मनुष्यों की सांसारिक चेष्टाएँ धन के अभाव में नष्ट हो जाती हैं। इस विपत्तिकाल में तुम्हें धन दिखाई नहीं देता, जैसे आकाश में बादल घिर आने पर ग्रह दिखाई नहीं देते।॥40॥ |
