तत्पश्चात् वे अपनी सेना का ऊपरी भाग छोड़कर तुरंत ही उस महासमर में वानर सेना के शिखर पर पहुँच गए और आकाश में अदृश्य होकर भयंकर बाणों की वर्षा करने लगे, जैसे काला बादल जल बरसाता है ॥54॥
