तत्पश्चात् रथ से उतरकर अग्नि के समान तेजस्वी उस राक्षस-मुखधारी योद्धा ने पृथ्वी पर अग्नि स्थापित करके चंदन, पुष्प और लावा आदि से अग्निदेव की पूजा की। तत्पश्चात् उस प्रतापी दैत्यराज ने उत्तम मन्त्रों का विधिपूर्वक पाठ करके अग्नि में आहुति दी। 21-22 1/2॥
Then after getting down from the chariot and setting fire on the earth, that demon-headed warrior, who was as bright as fire, worshiped Agnidev with sandalwood, flowers and lava etc. After that, that glorious demon king ritually recited the best mantras and offered the oblation to the fire. 21-22 1/2॥
