उन वानरों में से कुछ तो शरणागतों पर दया करने वाले भगवान् श्री रामजी की शरण में गए। कुछ तो व्याकुल होकर गिर पड़े। कुछ तो पीड़ा से व्याकुल होकर चारों ओर दौड़कर इधर-उधर गिर पड़े और बहुत से वानर भय से पीड़ित होकर भूमि पर लेट गए॥97॥
Some of those monkeys took refuge in Lord Shri Ram who is kind to those who seek refuge. Some fell down in distress. Some, in pain, ran in all directions and fell here and there and many monkeys, afflicted with fear, lay down on the ground.॥97॥
