कुम्भकर्ण भूतल पर सुखपूर्वक सो रहा था। उसी अवस्था में वे क्रूर राक्षस उसकी छाती पर पर्वतीय भालों, मूसलों, गदाओं, गदाओं और मुट्ठियों से प्रहार करने लगे ॥40॥
Kumbhakarna was sleeping happily on the ground floor. In that very state, those ferocious demons started hitting his chest with mountain spears, pestles, maces, clubs and fists. 40॥
