वानराणां च नादेन संरब्धो रावणस्तदा।
सम्भ्रमाविष्टहृदयो न किंचित् प्रत्यपद्यत॥ ८४॥
अनुवाद
उस समय वानरों की हर्ष भरी चीत्कार से रावण अत्यन्त क्रोधित हो उठा, साथ ही वह भय से भी भर गया, जिससे वह अपने कर्तव्य का निर्णय न कर सका।
At that time Ravana became very angry due to the joyous cries of the monkeys. At the same time, he was filled with fear and therefore he could not decide on his duty.
