'युद्धभूमि में प्रहस्त मारा गया' यह सुनकर वे अत्यन्त क्रोधित हुए; किन्तु शीघ्र ही उनका मन उसके लिए शोक से भर गया। अतः जैसे इन्द्र प्रमुख देवताओं से बातें करते हैं, वैसे ही वे दैत्य सेना के प्रधान सरदारों से बोले -॥3॥
On hearing that 'Prahasta was killed on the battlefield', he became very angry; but soon his mind was filled with grief for him. So, like Indra who talks to the chief gods, he spoke to the chief officers of the demon army -॥ 3॥
