यो वज्रपाताशनिसंनिपाता-
न्न चुक्षुभे नापि चचाल राजा।
स रामबाणाभिहतो भृशार्त-
श्चचाल चापं च मुमोच वीर:॥ १३९॥
अनुवाद
वह परम वीर राजा रावण जो वज्र और अग्नि के प्रहारों से भी विचलित या विचलित नहीं होता था, वह भगवान राम के बाणों से घायल होकर अत्यंत व्याकुल और काँपने लगा और उसका धनुष उसके हाथ से गिर पड़ा॥139॥
That very brave king Ravana who was never agitated or shaken even by the blows of thunderbolts and fire, was then wounded by the arrows of Lord Rama and became extremely distressed and trembling and his bow fell from his hand.॥ 139॥
