महेन्द्रतुल्योऽशनिभीमवेगान्।
संधाय चापे ज्वलनप्रकाशान्

अनुवाद
देवताओं के राजा इन्द्र के समान पराक्रमी लक्ष्मण ने भी रावण के वध के लिए अपने धनुष पर अग्नि के समान चमकने वाले तथा वज्र के समान वेग वाले तीखे बाण चढ़ाये।
Lakshmana, who was as mighty as the king of gods Indra, also placed on his bow sharp arrows, which were shining like fire, having the speed of thunderbolts, for the killing of Ravana.
