स बाणवर्षं तु ववर्ष तीव्रं
रामानुज: कार्मुकसम्प्रयुक्तम्।
क्षुरार्धचन्द्रोत्तमकर्णिभल्लै:
शरांश्च चिच्छेद न चुक्षुभे च॥ १०१॥
अनुवाद
परन्तु भगवान् राम के छोटे भाई लक्ष्मण इससे विचलित नहीं हुए, उन्होंने अपने धनुष से बाणों की भयंकर वर्षा की और क्षुर, अर्धचण्ड, उत्तम कर्णी और भल्ल प्रकार के बाणों से रावण के छोड़े हुए उन सब बाणों को काट डाला॥101॥
But Lord Rama's younger brother Lakshmana was not deterred by this. He showered a fierce shower of arrows from his bow and cut all those arrows shot by Ravana with arrows of the Kshur, Ardhchand, Uttam Karni and Bhall types.॥ 101॥
