दण्ड एव वरो लोके पुरुषस्येति मे मति:।
धिक् क्षमामकृतज्ञेषु सान्त्वं दानमथापि वा॥ ४९॥ |

| मैं इस संसार में मनुष्य के लिए धन कमाने का सबसे बड़ा साधन कृतघ्नों को दण्ड देना मानता हूँ। ऐसे लोगों को क्षमा करना, उन्हें सांत्वना देना और दान देना धिक्कार है॥ 49॥ |
