| यदि कैकेयी के संग से अथवा बहुत समय तक राजसी वैभव के सम्पर्क में रहने से श्रीमान भरत स्वयं राजा बनने की इच्छा करें, तो वे रघुकुलपुत्र भरत निर्भय होकर सम्पूर्ण जगत् का शासन करें (मैं उस राज्य को लेना नहीं चाहता। ऐसी स्थिति में मैं अन्यत्र रहकर तपस्वी का जीवन व्यतीत करूँगा)।॥ 17॥ |
