| सीताजी प्रातःकालीन सूर्य के समान लाल-पीली आभा से चमक रही थीं। तपे हुए सोने के आभूषण उनकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। उनके शरीर पर लाल रेशमी साड़ी लहरा रही थी। उनके सिर पर काले घुंघराले बाल शोभायमान थे। वे युवा थीं और उनके गले में पहने हुए पुष्प-मालाएँ अभी मुरझाई नहीं थीं। अग्निदेव ने वैदेही को गोद में लेकर श्रीराम को सौंप दिया, जो उसी सौंदर्य और वेश-भूषा से दमक रही थीं जैसी अतुलनीय रूपवती, पतिव्रता और गुणवती सीता अग्नि में प्रवेश करते समय थीं। |
