हे प्रभु! पूर्वकाल में युद्ध के समय जिसे इन्द्र आदि समस्त देवता भी पीछे नहीं हटा पाते थे, वही रावण आज रणभूमि में आपसे भिड़कर ऐसे शान्त हो गया, जैसे समुद्र तट पर पहुँचकर शान्त हो जाता है॥ 21॥
O Lord! In the past, during the times of war, the same Ravana who was never pushed back by even Indra and all the gods, after clashing with you on the battlefield today, became calm like the sea becomes calm after reaching its shore.॥ 21॥
