असंशयं शत्रुरयं प्रवृद्ध:
कृतं ह्यनेनाप्रियमप्रमेयम्।
न दूतवध्यां प्रवदन्ति सन्तो
दूतस्य दृष्टा बहवो हि दण्डा:॥ १४॥ |

| इसमें संदेह नहीं कि वह बहुत बड़ा शत्रु है; क्योंकि उसने ऐसा अपराध किया है जिसकी तुलना नहीं की जा सकती; फिर भी पुण्यात्मा लोग दूत को मारना उचित नहीं समझते। दूत के लिए और भी बहुत प्रकार के दण्ड देखे गए हैं॥14॥ |
