अवध्यतां तपोभिर्यां भवान् समनुपश्यति।
आत्मन: सासुरैर्देवैर्हेतुस्तत्राप्ययं महान्॥ २६॥ |

| तुम अपने तप के प्रभाव से देवताओं और दानवों द्वारा अपने को अमात्य होते हुए देख रहे हो। उसमें भी यह तप से उत्पन्न धर्म ही मुख्य कारण है (अथवा उस अमात्यता के होते हुए भी तुम्हारे मारे जाने का एक और मुख्य कारण है)।॥ 26॥ |
