खमास्तृणन्तं विविधै: शरोत्तमै:।

अक्षकुमार हाथ में धनुष लिये युद्ध के लिये तैयार होकर नाना प्रकार के उत्तम बाणों द्वारा आकाश को आच्छादित कर रहे थे। पवनपुत्र पवनकुमार हनुमान् उन्हें बड़े आदर से देखकर मन में कुछ सोचने लगे।
