उस समय लंका सफ़ेद बादलों जैसे दिखने वाले सुंदर और विचित्र राक्षसों के घरों से जगमगा रही थी। उनमें से कुछ घर कमल के आकार के थे। कुछ पर स्वस्तिक का चिह्न या आकृति थी और कुछ अर्धचंद्राकार दो घरों के आकार के थे। ये सभी घर चारों ओर से सुसज्जित थे।
At that time Lanka was lit up with beautiful and strange demon houses that looked like white clouds. Some of those houses were built in the shape of a lotus. Some had the symbol or shape of a swastika and some were built in the form of two houses named crescent. All of them were decorated from all sides.
