एक स्त्री मुंडा रावण को घसीटते हुए कहीं ले जा रही थी। तभी मैंने फिर देखा कि रावण काले वस्त्र पहने हुए था। वह गधे द्वारा खींचे जा रहे रथ पर सवार था। वह लाल फूलों और लाल चंदन की मालाओं से सुसज्जित था। वह तेल पी रहा था, हँस रहा था और नाच रहा था। पागलों की तरह उसका मन भ्रमित था और उसकी इंद्रियाँ बेचैन थीं। वह गधे पर सवार होकर दक्षिण दिशा की ओर तेज़ी से बढ़ रहा था।
‘A woman was dragging the shaven-headed Ravana somewhere. At that time I saw again that Ravana was wearing black clothes. He was travelling in a chariot drawn by a donkey. He was adorned with garlands of red flowers and red sandalwood. He was drinking oil, laughing and dancing. Like a madman, his mind was confused and his senses were restless. He was riding on a donkey and was moving quickly towards the south.
