राक्षसराज रावण द्वारा जनकनन्दिनी सीता को इस प्रकार धमकाते देख देवताओं और गन्धर्वों की पुत्रियाँ अत्यन्त दुःखी हो गईं। उनकी आँखें विकृत हो गईं।
Seeing Janakanandini Sita being threatened in this manner by the demon king Ravana, the daughters of the gods and the Gandharvas were very sad. Their eyes became distorted.
