श्री राम और लक्ष्मण को ऋष्यमूक पर्वत पर सुग्रीव के निवासस्थान में बिठाकर हनुमान जी वहाँ से मलय पर्वत (जो ऋष्यमूक का एक शिखर है) पर गए और वहाँ वानरराज सुग्रीव को उन दोनों रघुवंशी वीरों का परिचय देते हुए इस प्रकार बोले-॥1॥
After making Shri Ram and Lakshman sit in the abode of Sugriva on Rishyamook mountain, Hanuman ji went from there to Malay mountain (which is a peak of Rishyamook) and there, while introducing the two Raghuvanshi heroes to the monkey king Sugriva, he said thus - ॥ 1॥
