| विंध्य पर्वत के चारों ओर का विशाल प्रदेश अनेक गुफाओं और घने जंगलों से भरा हुआ था। इस कारण वहाँ माता जानकी को ढूँढ़ना बहुत कठिन था। उस निर्जन, भयानक वन में न तो जल उपलब्ध था और न ही कोई मनुष्य दिखाई दे रहा था। |
