विशालरथ्या दुर्धर्षा सर्वत: परिरक्षिता।

| उसी पर्वत पर नागों से निवास करने वाली एक नगरी है, जिसका नाम भोगवती है (यह पाताल की भोगवती पुरी से भिन्न है)। यह नगरी अजेय है। इसके मार्ग बहुत बड़े और चौड़े हैं। यह सब ओर से सुरक्षित है। तीखे दाँतों वाले और अत्यंत विषैले भयानक नाग इसकी रक्षा करते हैं॥ 36-37॥ |

| ‘On the same mountain there is a city inhabited by serpents, whose name is Bhogavati (this is different from Bhogavati Puri of the netherworld). This city is invincible.
