'पुण्यात्माओं ने गोहत्यारों, शराबियों, चोरों और व्रतभंग करने वालों के लिए प्रायश्चित बताया है; परन्तु कृतघ्न मनुष्य को छुड़ाने का कोई उपाय नहीं है॥12॥
‘The virtuous have prescribed atonement for cow-killers, drunkards, thieves and those who break vows; but there is no way to redeem an ungrateful person.॥ 12॥
