प्यासे पक्षी आकाश से मोतियों के समान गिरते हुए और पत्तों के दोनों ओर एकत्रित जल को देखकर बड़े हर्ष से देवराज इन्द्र के द्वारा दिए गए जल को पीते हैं। वर्षा में भीगने के कारण उनके पंख नाना प्रकार के रंग के दिखाई देते हैं॥ 35॥
‘The thirsty birds, seeing the water falling from the sky like pearls and collected on both sides of the leaves, drink the water given by the king of gods Indra with great joy. Due to being wet in the rain, their wings appear of various colours.॥ 35॥
