व्यामिश्रितं सर्जकदम्बपुष्पै-
र्नवं जलं पर्वतधातुताम्रम्।
मयूरकेकाभिरनुप्रयातं
शैलापगा: शीघ्रतरं वहन्ति॥ १८॥ |

| इस समय पर्वतीय नदियाँ वर्षा का ताजा जल बड़े वेग से बहाकर ला रही हैं। वह जल सरजा और कदम्ब के पुष्पों से मिश्रित है, गेरू आदि पर्वतीय धातुओं के कारण लाल रंग का हो गया है और उस जल की कलकल ध्वनि के साथ-साथ मोरों की काँव-काँव की ध्वनि भी हो रही है॥18॥ |

| ‘At this time the mountain rivers are carrying the fresh rain water with great speed. That water is mixed with the flowers of Sarja and Kadamba tree, it has become red in colour due to the ochre and other metals of the mountain and the cawing sound of the peacocks is following the gurgling sound of that water.॥ 18॥ |
