'ककुत्स्थपुत्र! आपकी कृपा से सुग्रीव को सुन्दर दाढ़ी वाले, बलवान और महान बुद्धि वाले वानरों का यह विशाल राज्य प्राप्त हुआ, जो उसके पूर्वजों के समय से चला आ रहा है। प्रभु! यद्यपि इसे प्राप्त करना अत्यन्त कठिन था, तथापि आपकी कृपा से यह उसके लिए सुगम हो गया। अब यदि आपकी अनुमति हो, तो वह अपने सुन्दर नगर में प्रवेश करे और अपने मित्रों के साथ राज-काज का संचालन करे।'
