त्रीण्येव व्यसनान्यत्र कामजानि भवन्त्युत।
मिथ्यावाक्यं तु परमं तस्माद् गुरुतरावुभौ॥ ३॥
परदाराभिगमनं विना वैरं च रौद्रता।
मिथ्यावाक्यं न ते भूतं न भविष्यति राघव॥ ४॥ |

| अनुवाद |
| इस संसार में काम से उत्पन्न होने वाले केवल तीन ही दुर्गुण हैं। झूठ बोलना तो बहुत बड़ा दुर्गुण है, परन्तु उससे भी बड़े दो दुर्गुण हैं - व्यभिचार और बिना किसी द्वेष के दूसरों पर अत्याचार करना। रघुनन्दन! इनमें से झूठ बोलने का दुर्गुण न तो तुम्हें कभी हुआ है और न भविष्य में होगा।॥ 3-4॥ |

Lying is a very big vice, but there are two more vices that are even bigger than that – adultery and cruelty towards others without any hostility. Raghunandan!
