हे लक्ष्मण! जो महेश्वर 'त्रिपुर विजय' के समान पराक्रम से युक्त हैं और जो सम्पूर्ण लोकों की रचना, पालन और संहार करते हैं, वे जब दयालु स्वभाव के कारण मौन रहते हैं, तब समस्त प्राणी उनके ऐश्वर्य को न जानकर उनका तिरस्कार करने लगते हैं॥ 54॥
Lakshmana! When the Maheshwara who is endowed with valour like 'Tripura Vijaya' and who creates, nurtures and destroys all the worlds, remains silent due to his compassionate nature, then all beings, not knowing about his opulence, start despising him.॥ 54॥
