Lakshmana returned after searching the banks of the Godavari, which is dotted with numerous ghats of pilgrimage sites, and said to Lord Rama, "Brother! I am unable to see Sita on the banks of the Godavari; she does not listen to me even after calling her loudly." 3 1/2
