नैवंरूपा मया नारी दृष्टपूर्वा महीतले।
रूपमग्रॺं च लोकेषु सौकुमार्यं वयश्च ते॥ २३॥
इह वासश्च कान्तारे चित्तमुन्माथयन्ति मे।
सा प्रतिक्राम भद्रं ते न त्वं वस्तुमिहार्हसि॥ २४॥ |

| 'मैंने पृथ्वी पर इतनी सुंदर स्त्री पहले कभी नहीं देखी। एक ओर तीनों लोकों में तुम्हारा सबसे सुंदर रूप, कोमलता और नवयौवन, और दूसरी ओर इस दुर्गम वन में निवास! ये सब बातें स्मरण आते ही मेरे मन को पीड़ा पहुँचाती हैं। तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। यहाँ से चले जाओ। तुम यहाँ रहने के योग्य नहीं हो।' |
