खरस्य निधने देवि जनस्थानवधं प्रति। |

| हे शुभ देवि! जिस समय खारक मारा गया, उसी समय जनस्थान में रहने वाले अन्य अनेक राक्षस भी मारे गए। इसी कारण ये रात्रिचर जीव हमसे द्वेष रखने लगे हैं॥18 1/2॥ |
